Lady Gaga News: Pop Star Wins Grammy For “Die With a Smile”
Lady Gaga earned another Grammy Award thanks to her duet with Bruno Mars on “Die With a Smile.” The hit single, which has topped the Billboard Hot chart for four weeks in a row, won Best Pop Duo Performance at the awards ceremony on Sunday. The track was also nominated for Song of the Year.
During her acceptance speech, Gaga thanked collaborator Mars and fiancé Michael Polansky before sending a message to the LGBTQ community. “I just want to say tonight that trans people are not invisible,” she said. “Trans people deserve love. The queer community deserves to be lifted up. Music is love.”
Gaga last won a Grammy in for her collaborative album with Tony Bennett, Love For Sale, and was more recently nominated for her work on the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack in The year-old is now a time Grammy winner.

She is known for her image reinventions and musical versatility. Gaga began performing as a teenager, singing at open mic nights and acting in school plays. She studied at Collaborative Arts Project 21, through the New York University Tisch School of the Arts, before dropping out to pursue a career in music.
