Mary is the daughter of John J. Foley Sr. and former Mayor of Portsmouth Eileen Dondero Foley and also granddaughter of Mary Carey Dondero, also former Mayor of Portsmouth. She is a retired Portsmouth High School English Teacher who works as a concierge at Wentworth by the Sea Hotel.
