Giampietro Rosato, harpsichord player, pianist and organist, was born in in Padua, where he began his musical studies and gained recognition for his interpretations of Baroque and classical works as well as New Music.
He attended courses held by Tom Koopman, Michael Radulescu, Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, Gustav Leonhardt, Andreas Staier and Eckart Sellheim. He has studied harpsichord and organ at the State College of Music in Trossingen, and with Jean-Claude Zehnder at the Basel Schola Cantorum.
Giampietro Rosato has won several prizes in national and international competitions, including Stresa (), Bologna (), Prague (), Brugge (), where he also received the “Audience Prize”, and Leipzig (). In he was awarded the DAAD prize by the Trossingen State College of Music, and the following year he won first prize in the international harpsichord competition held by NDR -North German Radio- in Hamburg.

Else Schmitz-Gohr (12 August – 13 December ) was a German composer, pianist, and teacher who is best remembered for her Elegy for the Left Hand for piano, her successful students, and her recordings of Max Reger’s works for piano.[1][2]
Schmitz-Gohr was born in Cologne. She studied at the Cologne Conservatory and the Stern Conservatory in Berlin. Her teachers included Franz Bolsche, Wilhelm Klatte, Dr. Otto Klauwell, James Kwast, and Fritz Hans Rehbold. She socialized with sculptor Lili Graf.[3] In , she debuted as a pianist under conductor Hermann Abendroth, and in won the Gustav Hollaender medal.[1]
Schmitz-Gohr toured throughout Germany and abroad as a pianist. She was known for her interpretation of modern composers, especially Max Reger, whose works she recorded commercially on LP KAS (Kaskade).[4][2] She taught at the Rheinische Musikschule, the State Academy of Music in Colo

Dr. Pettersson will guide his audience through a musical tour of the piece, outlining motivic aspects, examining melodic and harmonic trademarks, and revealing the quintessential spirit so emblematic of “the poet of the piano”.
