Martin was born on February 17, , in Las Vegas, Nevada. A fan of musical theater, she performed in several community theater productions in Las Vegas. She began modeling at the age of five. As a child, she worked consistently in a variety of national and international commercials, including Barbie and Cabbage Patch Dolls.
