Hentschel worked in London as a professional backup dancer for artists such as Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Paulina Rubio, Jamelia and others. Later he was hired as a choreographer and worked on many music videos and tours in Canada and , Falk decided to stay in Los Angeles for good and pursue his dream of becoming an actor. The CW has announced that Falk Hantschel has been cast as Hawkman in DCs Legends of Tomorrow.

Falk will play Carter Hall, the latest reincarnation of an Egyptian Prince who is fated to reincarnate throughout time along with his soulmate, Kendra Saunders (played bygd Ciara Renée). Like Kendra, Carter can access the powers of the Hawk God, Horus, transforming him into the winged krigare known as Hawkman.
Renée made a blink-and-youll-miss-it, out-of-costume cameo in the season finale of The Flash last year. Much of the rest of the Legends of Tomorrow cast has either already appeared on The Flash or Arrow, or have been seen in-costume and in-character during a promotional spot for the series (seen below).
According to a statement released by the network, Hentschel will first appear in the crossover episodes of Arrow & The Flash, then continue in the role on DCs Legends of Tomorrow.
