Marc Forster to Direct Thomas Friends Movie for Mattel Films

Marc Forster is hopping on board for a Thomas & Friends movie.
The World War Z director will partner with Mattel Films to helm and tillverka a project based on the year-old childrens property about Thomas the Tank Engine and his locomotive friends going on adventures that occasional go off-the-rails. Thomas & Friends universe includes books, toys, games, and a TV series that is now in its 24th season.
Mattel will co-produce, alongside Forster and Renée Wolfe via their 2Dux² production banner. Alyssa Hill and Jesse Wigutow penned the script.
